This set was recorded between the hours of 4-6am on the morning after Xmas Day, at the first Mariana Limited event at Warehouse702 in Tokyo. This set goes out in respect to the people of Japan at this terrible time from Ben & I. Massive love and respect to all those in Japan especially those affected by the earthquakes and tsunami, stoic as ever and brave beyond words, even in the face of such a immeasurably awful disaster.

Thanks also to those who came to this event, Shane for the recording & the Mariana crew & Ryo San for running the event so smoothly in my absense...

My first trip to the island of Shikoku, about 6 hours south of Tokyo by the bullet train & limited express.View from the bridge over from the mainland of honshu looking out at the Inland Sea was nothing short of spectacular and the guys in Tokushima made me feel right at home right away, feeding me some deliciously warming local udon & the next day treating me to a mountain hot spring. Perfect remedy for the end of my tour. Massive thanks to Kemumaki and his very accomodating crew for a great little party & couple of days!

Due to serious illness and being unable to attend the latest installment of Mariana Dub Sessions down at Module featuring the marvelous Delta Funktionen I decided to send an hour set of video and audio to be used at the event in Tokyo. A kind of 'remote' set hopefully without all the fuss. Reports from the event were that our man Niels aka DF absolutely killed it and even my shadow-like figure on the screen accompanied by the set below apparently managed to hold the crowd by some small miracle...

Thanks to all my crew in Tokyo especially Blake, Michael & Nobu for managing the event and the tour in my absense. This mix was recorded at a unnamed Warehouse in London's East end a few days prior to the event. Massive thanks to Tomoki Tamura for sorting the whole thing, his lovely friend Hidemi who did the video and Richard for letting us use the venue! Thanks to Shelley for coming along to support ...
